Types of Ammeters

How an Ammeter Works
An ammeter is connected in series with the circuit so that the entire current flows through it. It has a low internal resistance to minimize voltage drop and ensure accurate measurement. When current flows through the ammeter, the device detects and displays the current value, either using an analog dial or a digital screen.
