Disposable ESR Tubes are single-use, high-precision tubes designed for Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) testing in medical laboratories. Made from high-quality, sterile materials, they ensure accurate and reliable blood sample analysis while minimizing the risk of contamination.

Disposable ESR Tubes – Accurate & Sterile Solution for ESR Testing

Disposable ESR Tubes are single-use laboratory tubes specifically designed for Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) testing, a crucial diagnostic test used to detect inflammation and monitor various medical conditions. These tubes are made from high-quality, sterile materials to ensure accurate and reliable blood sample analysis while preventing cross-contamination.

Designed for safe and efficient laboratory use, these tubes come pre-calibrated to ensure precise sedimentation rate measurement. They are compatible with standard ESR testing methods, including the Westergren method, making them suitable for hospitals, diagnostic labs, and research facilities.

Key Features

High-Quality Material – Made from medical-grade plastic or glass for durability and accuracy.
Pre-Calibrated for Accuracy – Ensures precise ESR measurement without manual adjustments.
Sterile & Single-Use – Eliminates the risk of cross-contamination, ensuring hygienic testing.
Compatible with Standard Methods – Suitable for Westergren ESR testing and automated analyzers.
Clear Graduations – Easy-to-read markings for accurate measurement and interpretation.
Leak-Proof & Safe Design – Designed to prevent spills or leaks, ensuring safe handling of blood samples.
Convenient Packaging – Available in bulk packs for efficient laboratory workflow.

How to Use

  1. Collect the Blood Sample – Use an EDTA or citrate tube to collect the patient’s blood sample.
  2. Transfer Blood to ESR Tube – Carefully transfer the required amount of blood into the ESR tube.
  3. Place the Tube in an ESR Rack – Position the tube vertically in an ESR stand or analyzer.
  4. Wait for Sedimentation – Allow the red blood cells to settle, typically for one hour in the Westergren method.
  5. Read & Record the Results – Measure the plasma level above the red blood cell layer for an accurate ESR reading.

Applications

  • Medical Diagnosis – Used to detect inflammation, infections, and autoimmune diseases.
  • Hospital & Clinical Labs – Essential for routine hematology testing.
  • Research & Studies – Used in scientific research for blood sedimentation analysis.
